It was guided by the following objectives, to understand what is advertising, to understand what is sales, to establish what a effective good advert should contain and establishing the relationship between advertising and sales in multinational companies. Advertising as one of the marketing strategy to has influence on sales volume as it helps in making customer to be aware of the company and its products. It stimulates consumer spending on the particular product. According to the research, the study concluded that, multinational companies should explore this opportunity as a way of marketing their product globally simply because advertising is the most cost effective means of mass communication and it has a persuasive power to the customers. According to there search, the study also concluded that, sales volume do not necessarily increase due to advertising but there are other factors such as quality of the product, branding and packaging, channels of distribution, price of the product and many other strategies that multinational companies should concentrate on. The study recommended that, multinational companies should apportion funds on advertising since it is the easiest and fastest way to reach the customers. Also multinational companies should employ and train strong sales force relating to the marketing condition simply because it enhances an integrated marketing communication between multinational companies and its customers.
