Abstract
The aim of this research paper is to evaluate the effective performance of local media in enhancing entrepreneurship development of the country, the case study of IPP Media limited. Located in the city of Dar es salaam. Chapter one, represents the introduction to the research problem, historical background of IPP Media Limited, background to the problem ,then statement of the problem. In addition, research objectives, research questions, research hypothesis ,significance of the study; limitation and delimitation of the study have been presented in the first chapter. Chapter two has presents a review of literature related to this study by way of seeking knowledge and experiences from different authors who have written on related topics/areas of study. Third chapter consists of Research Methodology used in conducting this study, Study Design, Research sample, Sapling techniques, as well as Data collection procedures. Data collected during the study at IPP Media has be analyzed and interpreted and interpreted in Chapter four. Chapter five of the study presents the summary and conclusion of the study, recommendations to the other stake holders as well as recommendations for further studies.
