Abstract
This study was conducted from December 2006 up to February 2007 in Morogoro municipal, Morogoro Region, Tanzania. The purpose of the study was to assess various misconduct that teachers committed in the execution of their duties and their impact on the educational process in Morogoro region. The study used an explanatory cross section design whereby data was collected through structured questionnaire with open and closed questions. A total of 254 respondents were involved as follows: Pupils Officers Teachers Male 86 6 11 Female 109 11 31 Total 195 17 42 The data was analyzed by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Descriptive statistics such as frequency, mean, percentages and tabulation were used to summarize the information. However, good co-operation which was given by pupils, teachers, and official have made the work of compiling this report to be easy and reliable to the entire user of the research.
