Abstract
The study was intended to examine the relationship between remuneration and employee performance at Centenary Rural Development Bank, Kampala Road 1. To establish the forms of remunerations currently awarded to employees of Centenary Rural Development Bank 11. To determine the relationship between remuneration and employee performance at Centenary Rural Development Bank of Uganda, Kampala Road 111. To measure the level employee performance in relation to the remunerations given to staff at Centenary Rural Development Bank The researcher used the descriptive research design. The design was used to critically examine and analyze the research findings and establish the relationship between monetary remunerations and employee performance. Findings of the study revealed that remuneration affects employee performance in Centenary Rural Development Bank, Kampala Road The researcher recommended a number of issues and then suggested further research on areas that were not fully explored.
