Abstract: The purpose of the study will be to find out the factors influencing employee performance in Ugandan hotels. The overall objective is to identify the factors influencing the performance of employees. Data collection is done by the research from the available literature from the text books, journals, research reports and the internet. The finding of the study will show the nature of motivation that influences the employee in the hotel industry. It will establish the relationship that exists between motivation and employee performance, factors of motivating employee and attitude of employees towards motivating factors. The findings of the study will be used to simulate employee performance in the hotel industry of Uganda.
