Abstract
The purpose of the study was to establish the causes of secondary school drop outs in Kiruhura District. It was guided by three objectives namely; to determine the causes of secondary school dropout in Kiruhura District, to identify the effects of secondary school dropout and to examine the solutions of secondary school dropout.
