Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the administrative policies affect physical education and sports. This is viewed on the perspective of implementation, and the school administrators’ efforts towards physical education and sports like statutory time allocation, time tabling, teaching organiz~tion and competitions, funding mobilization and utilization of physical education resources Data will be collected using an appropriate research tool like a questionnaire administered to the sports and school head teachers in the sample schools. The evidence collected from the field will be analyzed using statistical means. Should there be gaps identified in the relationship between school administrative policies and sports, remedies will be suggested in order to address the prevailing situation within the sample school as far as physical education and sports are concerned.
