However, findings further exposed that there were other mechanisms available for conflict resolution in TMC which were written rules, policies and agreements, effective management, careful hiring of employees, open door policy, facilitation, peer review of disputes and mediation mechanism. Nonetheless, findings found that timely service delivery in TMC was poor, there were favorable environment for employees’ participation in dialogue for conflict resolution and TMC lacks best motivation strategies for its employees. Findings further found that TMC had work inefficiency as well as the poor communication within an organization especially from the top management. Additionally, findings showed stress management, improved working environment; free counseling for all employees and sexual harassment policy as most effective policy option and strategy for managing internal conflict resolution in TMC. Among others, the study concludes that internal conflicts are really a part of organizations everyday operations and they should raise concern among stakeholders of efficiency of organizations like TMC. (Kampala International University,College of Humanities and Social Sciences, 2011-11) Cherr, Ricci Decano
The resilience of religion in developing countries is now plain to see. In Africa and Uganda in particular, religion shows no sign of disappearing or diminishing in public importance, as development theorists have generally supposed. The objective of the study was to investigate the role of religion in the stability and development of Uganda. The main research instrument was a questionnaire with the employees of Lutheran World Federation (LWF). The results from the questionnaire were triangulated with secondary data sources. It is concluded from the findings of the study that Individuals and faith-based organizations from a variety of religious traditions are increasingly active in attempts to end conflicts and to foster post-conflict reconciliation between warring pa1ties in various parts of the world. It was revealed from the findings of the study that religion through its organizations has been the one responsible for providing spiritual and to a great extent social welfare for its followers. It was recommended that the educational policy makers should formulate policies that will ensure that development and stability is achieved through encouraging more religious institutions joining the crusade for poverty alleviation and peace building.

The research has been conducted on the influence of the Lord's Resistance Army in South Sudan's Western Equat01ia State, case study of Yambio town. The research aimed at investigating the influence of the Lord's Resistance Army m South Sudan's Western Equatoria State, case study ofYambio town. The research used descriptive and adopted quantitative method using frequency tables, percentages and pic charts. In the study, data was collected from 85 individual; indigenous farmers, business men and government employees within Yambio town. The research employed questionnaire and interview guide which was administered to victims, escapees and LRA survivors; indigenous farmers, business men and civil servants as samples. The findings of the study indicated that the influence of the LRA has negatively impacted the culture of the local people which was being eroded. The economy of Yambio town was in peril with no food productions and no free and safe movements due to LRA ambushes. The political activities of the town were disrupted with less people actively participating due to fear of being targeted by the LRA. Finally the findings were analyzed and came out with the conclusion that peace talks were necessary which the government or the stakeholders such as UNMIS and civil society could initiate. A negotiated peaceful agreement between the local community and the LRA to avoid repetitive atrocities could also be path to peaceful settlement of the LRA conflict. The agreement would allow every activity to normalize with farmers returning to villages to cultivate, businessmen operating freely on Yambio-Uganda road without fear of ambushes and civil servants performing their duties as required. It would also lead to a permanent resolution which could be negotiated with Uganda government to handle LRA conflict in African way without intervening to westem notion justice
