Abstract
This study examined the impact of population increase to poverty eradication in iganga district. the first aim was to examine the problems of population increase that limits poverty eradication on a family household. the study showed that problems like high pressure on resources like land affects many people to come out of poverty. the second aim was to find out the impact of population increase on poverty eradication in iganga district. The study revealed that due to population increase people lack jobs to sustain their cast of living. the third aim was to examine the challenges of population increase on poverty eradication in iganga district. The study showed that families with many children find it hard to invested in any productive work because of increasing burdens. the findings reveal that there are many associated problems of population increase to poverty eradication these problems were lack of good high education.
