Abstract
A group of Makerere University students want the High Court to trim the powers of vice chancellor (VC) Pof. Barnabas Nawangwe. The students seek to have a declaration in the Makerere University Students Regulatory Statutory Instrument of 2015, which gives powers to the vice chancellor to suspend a student from the university as illegal, null and void.
