The focus of his research was on girl's school drop out and academic
performance case study of selected schools in Kabarnet division m

The objectives were to establish the cause of girls school dropout among
pupils. According PC Tum; Educational Trends in Kenya A vocational
perspective children from less privileged families financially who enter
First class of primary school do not complete their primary school
education because socio and economic reasons force them out mid-way
while those from families which are better off financially will continue
with secondary education even when they do not quality to proceed
because such parents do everything convened to see to it that their
children continue in their pursuit of education un-hampered
From my research ,it was found of those children many of whom were
girls was dropped between classes four and six come from poor families
confirming the fact that poverty plays an important role in student
