Abstract
The study was basically focused on establishing the impact of poor curriculum development on pupil's academic performance taking Twic East County, Jonglei state, in Southern Sudan as a case study, the seriousness of poor curriculum development was unveiled by this study. In the same way effective and appropriate measures that can be applied to rectify the poor curriculum development cases for the proper teaching of pupils in Southern Sudan for academic excellence was strongly expected to be identified in these study findings. The study also tried to find out the loopholes that enhance the poor curriculum development in the education sector of Southern Sudan, likewise effective measures and techniques were applied to identify how such loopholes could be avoided once and for all to ensure proper following of the curriculum. The study in this regard is dedication to ensure that all the education stakeholders in this region get to know how to conduct effective curriculum development and fully avoid messing up the curriculum. Therefore the effective policy and techniques are expected to be identified by this study to be used to guide the curriculum development on how to come up with a proper unified curriculum which will be useful for all in the region.
