The Role of Public Art in Urban Development
(Eurasian Experiment Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (EEJHSS), 2025) Mutoni Uwase N.
Public art has evolved from static beautification efforts to dynamic, participatory interventions that shape the physical, social, and cultural landscapes of urban environments. This paper examines the multifaceted role of public art in urban development, from its historical roots in civic beautification to its contemporary functions in community engagement, economic revitalization, cultural expression, environmental sustainability, and technological innovation. By analyzing landmark programs, evolving definitions, and the integration of public art in planning frameworks, this study highlights how public art serves not only as a visual enhancement but also as a catalyst for dialogue, identity formation, and inclusive development. The paper concludes by recognizing public art as a transformative force in creating resilient, vibrant, and meaningful urban spaces.

The Role of Memory in Shaping National Identity
(Eurasian Experiment Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (EEJHSS), 2025) Mutoni Uwase N.
This paper examines the intricate relationship between memory and national identity through the lens of cultural psychology, sociology, and education. It posits that national identity is not a static essence but an evolving construct shaped by collective memory practices, both remembering and forgetting, mediated through institutions, discourses, and cultural artifacts. The study draws on theories of collective memory, national narratives, and symbolic representation to argue that nations use selective recollection to solidify shared belonging while omitting divisive or traumatic histories. Institutions such as schools, museums, monuments, and the media function as memory regulators, shaping public consciousness and identity. Through comparative case studies including Israeli Arab textbooks and Indian history curricula, the paper reveals how dominant narratives are maintained, contested, or revised to reinforce or reshape national identity. In an era of globalization, the negotiation of memory becomes even more complex, offering opportunities for hybrid identities but also for intensified memory conflicts. Ultimately, the paper underscores that memory is both a tool of nation-building and a terrain of struggle over who belongs and whose past matters.

The Role of Medicinal Plants in Strengthening Immune Response in Diabetic Patients
(Research Invention Journal of Research in Medical Sciences, 2025) Abner Tom Kalukusu
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disorder that impairs the immune system, making patients more susceptible to infections and related complications. Conventional treatments for diabetes often involve synthetic drugs, which may cause adverse effects and do not fully address immune dysfunction. Medicinal plants offer a promising complementary strategy due to their immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. This paper explores the potential of selected medicinal plants, such as Zataria multiflora (Thyme), Camellia sinensis (Green Tea), and Echinacea purpurea, in enhancing immune responses in diabetic patients. The mechanisms of action are examined through phytochemical pathways and cellular immune signaling. Clinical and preclinical studies indicate that these plants improve both innate and adaptive immunity, reduce inflammation, and mitigate oxidative stress. Despite promising outcomes, challenges in standardization, dosage, and safety remain. Further clinical trials and regulatory measures are essential to integrate herbal therapies into mainstream diabetic care effectively.

The Role of Data Analytics in Personalized Medicine
(Research Output Journal of Engineering and Scientific Research, 2025) Gakire Munyaneza H.
Personalized medicine seeks to revolutionize healthcare by tailoring treatment strategies to individual biological, clinical, and behavioral profiles. Central to this approach is data analytics, which enables the integration, interpretation, and application of vast and varied datasets from genomics and electronic health records to wearable sensor outputs and patient-reported outcomes. This paper explores how data analytics underpins personalized medicine by examining key methodologies, including data collection, integration, modeling, and predictive algorithms. We assess the evolution of bioinformatics tools and the emergence of phylogenetic and machine learning frameworks to identify disease risks and optimize interventions. The study also highlights practical applications, such as hepatocellular carcinoma diagnosis, and discusses barriers like data heterogeneity, lack of standardization, and ethical concerns related to data privacy and governance. By addressing these challenges, data analytics not only improves the precision of medical decisions but also paves the way for sustainable, scalable, and ethically grounded healthcare innovations.

The Role of Advocacy in Legal Reform: Effective Communication Tactics
(Eurasian Experiment Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (EEJHSS), 2025) Asuma Mariita Nchaga
This paper examines the critical role of advocacy in driving legal reform, with an emphasis on communication tactics that enhance the effectiveness of advocacy efforts. It begins by tracing the historical context of legal advocacy and the rise of organized reform movements. The paper highlights how interest groups, legal professionals, and NGOs utilize targeted lobbying, court-based challenges, and public engagement strategies to influence substantive and procedural legal change. Special attention is given to communication dynamics ranging from traditional lobbying to the strategic use of social media, public messaging, and coalition building. Through case studies and analysis of advocacy principles, the study identifies core skills necessary for successful legal advocacy and the importance of tailoring communication to specific audiences. It concludes by examining common challenges and offers practical insights into designing culturally relevant, context-specific advocacy strategies that align with both institutional complexities and public sentiment.
