    This is a study on effect of Information Communication Technology on Inventory management. This is a case study of Kenya Ports Authority, Mombasa County. The study seeks to bring out the importance of Information Communication Technology on the organisation. Many organizations in the business world today choose to ignore or are not aware on the importance of Information Communication Technology on enhancing organization performance. With the increasing globalization of economic activity and rapid development of information technology, businesses are seeking to develop and organize strategic, efficient and world-wide networks. These networks focus on integrating product sourcing, production and distribution with the aid of Information Communication Technology. The usage of Information Communication Technology rate determines the efficiency on the inventory management. The progress in techniques and managing !CT activities improves the moving load, delivery speed, service quality, operation costs, the usage of facilities and energy saving in managing inventory. The research was undertaken to assist supply chain managers, Procurement specialist, researchers to define and comprehend the basic views of !CT and its various applications in inventory management and the relationships between ICT and Procurement & Supply chain activities. A suggested area of study in this context Kenya Ports Authority among other organization should critically analyze forms of employee development that fits a given need and of need be employ the help of an expert for effective results.
