Chapter one talks about the data to be collected using the various methods mentioned in chapter three would are analyzed using appropriate formulae statistically known in order to establish the relationship between the two variables. The objectives of the study were to identify techniques of inventory management used at Village Mall super market, to established the level of performance of stores department and to find out the relationship between inventory management and performance of stores department at Village Mall super market Bugolobi branch. The research questions would be derived from the objectives in order to guide the study. Chapter two handles the literature reviews from different authors through text books and information obtained from magazines, newspapers, Journals auditor general’s report and internet. This formed basis for identification of gaps in the tropical area of the study. Chapter three contains the description of how the study would be carried out. It presents the research design, population and sample size, sampling techniques, source of data, and method of data collection, data collection instruments, procedures, analysis and presentation of the data. Chapter four consists of presentations, analysis and discussion of the findings, the empirical results were analyzed and presented objective by objective. Chapter five contains the description of the summary, conclusion, recommendation and limitation of the findings. This derived the researchers to summary and concludes objective by objective and got solutions to the limitation of the findings.
