    Students reject decision to stay 15% increment

Students yesterday rejected Makerere University Council's resolution to drop 15 percent increment of functional fees but maintain it tuition fees for the next five years.

    Studies at Makerere University have resumed in some colleges as students wait for the parliament's decisions on their grievances that triggered the strike last month. " Students are now calm but if parliament comes up with the students do not want, you will hear that the fire is back on the hill."
