Two objectives were formulated to determine the level of gender disparity in violence in school and level of violence in schools. The objectives were tested by the following indicators namely; violence in schools and gender disparity in violence in school. The study revealed that violence in school is high. The findings also revealed that the girl child was high vulnerable to gender disparity in violence in schools. The method used was descriptive, co-relational in that it was interested in relating gender and violence in schools. The target population was 118 teachers in selected public primary schools in Tana River district, Tana River County, Kenya. The sample was 92 teachers out of 118. Basing on the findings, the study recommended the following; Teachers to sensitize their students on gender and violence, teachers to be keen on the indicators of violence and gender disparity in violence. Teachers to put in place guidance and counseling services in school.
