    Partnership Sourcing On Organizational Competitive Advantage: A case Study of Uchumi Supermarket)

    The study was conducted in Uchumi supermarket, with the main purpose of investigating the partnership sourcing on organizational competitive advantage. The study aimed at achieving the following objectives; • To evaluate the influence of partnership sourcing towards the success of a retail store like Uchumi supermarket. • To examine what is meant by partnership sourcing. • To examine how partnership sourcing affects the performance a retail store like Uchumi supermarket. The procedures used during data collection included questionnaires, interviews, and library research relevant materials. Data was analyzed by the use of descriptive methods of percentage distributions and frequency distribution. The findings were presented in tables, interpreted and discussed where possible. The major findings of this study will be that partnership sourcing will have a positive impact towards the success of the Uchumi supermarket iimited since it will be in the position to fairly understand the nature of competitive advantage of partnership sourcing to enable it acquire the given position in the market . Therefore it will also appreciate the beneficial competitive advantage towards Uchumi and the study will identify the measures that can be applied to lessen negative effects to reinforce the positive competitive advantage techniques and also develop my frontiers of knowledge in field of supplier management
