An examination of the law relating to election malpractices in Uganda.
(Kampala international international: School Of Law, 2014-06) Elijah, Kyetunda Muhindo
This research is intended to offer an insight into how free and fair elections can enhance and later on entrench democracy in Uganda. It traces the origin of elections in Uganda from the colonial era to date but it specially explores the persistent electoral flaws despite the existence of laws and institutions regulating electoral processes. It is opined that the research findings will offer a useful exposition of the need for a free and fair electoral process. It could also offer practical recommendations on how best election malpractices can be managed.
