    Supply chain management practices and performance of small scale enterprises in Juba, South Sudan

    This study assessed the impact of supply chain management activities and performance in small scale enterprises in juba, South Sudan. The purpose was to investigate the relationship between supply chain management activities and performance. It was based on the following objectives: to determine the demographic characteristics of the respondents in terms of age, gender, level of education, and experience; to determine the level of supply chain management practices in small scale enterprises; to determine the level of performance of small scale enterprises; and to establish whether there is a significant relationship between supply chain management practices and performance of small scale enterprises in Juba. The researcher employed a descriptive and correlation research design. Data was collected majorly quantitatively using structured questions which were closed ended. Qualitatively methods of data collection where used through interviews. The triangulation of the study enabled the researcher to capture detailed data from respondents which was later analyzed using the SPSS computer package. The findings of the study revealed that supply chain management practices significantly influence the performance of small scale enterprises in Juba, Sothern Sudan by (r = 0.19, sig = 0.17) which rejected that null hypothesis. The researcher therefore, recommends that the need to invest in more supply chain management practices is pertinent for the improvement of the performance among small scale enterprises in Juba, Southern Sudan.
