    Design and implementation of e-learning system for Tanzania public service college Tanzanian

    The study found out that different types of e-learning information systems that are in market were not satisfying the requirement of the Tanzania Public Service College. Therefore the study was conducted so that to satisfy the requirement of organization. The e-learning information system was very complex and expensive for the Tanzania Public Service College an investigation was carried out to establish how the existing system functions and what its problems were. To help in investigation, the structured interview, Observation and Questionnaires were used in Data Collection In designing the system, the study defines the architecture, components, modules, interfaces, and data for a system to satisfy specified requirements. One could see it as the application of systems theory to product development. The system design was done in three phases. Conceptual, Logical and Physical design the design and implementation of the new system at Tanzania Public Service College was a very interesting venture. Thus the project objectives were achieved through. The researcher recommends that the application be developed further to include more help files. Further user training, with the introduction of the new system, staff members from the branch are to be trained with a lot of precaution concerned with operation of the system. Further areas of system development and implementation to other campuses of Tanzania Public Service College such as Tabora Campus, and Mtwara Campus.
