Finance is used by individuals (personal finance), by governments (public finance), by businesses (corporate finance), as well as by a wide variety of organizations including schools and non-profit organizations. In general, the goals of each of the above activities are achieved through the use of effective management and control strategies, with consideration to their institutional setting. Finance is one of the most important aspects of business management. Without proper financial planning a new enterprise is unlikely to be successful. Managing money (a liquid asset) is essential to ensure a secure future, both for the individual and an organization. Working capital requirements of a business should be monitored at all times to ensure that there are sufficient funds available to meet short-term expenses. In an attempt to investigate the relationship between the management of finance and financial perfom1ance of organization, this study contributed to the existing literature by assessing the effect of management team on the performance while making use of use of primary and secondary data for collection of data which were presented and analyzed for meaningful information to other users and adoption for a successful business operations. The study further observed that the success of an organization does not depend on the amount of funds available but rather on how it is been managed. Therefore, this study concludes that organizations will continue to record success as long as the management team are effective in the way and manner it manages the available funds for its operations.
