- ItemThe impact of universal primary education on girl child education in Adjumani District in Nothern Uganda a case study of Pakelle Sub County(Kampala International University, College of Humanities and Social science, 2015-03) Izarua, FaithDespite the importance of universal primary schools as a foundation for the country’s formal education for increased number of girl child education, the Ministry of Education spends less than three percent of its budget on this sub-sector, The General objective of the study was to determine the impact of universal primary education on girl child education. The research study was conducted between November 2014 and march 2015. The study was carried in Pakelle Sub County, in Adjumani district in northern of Uganda. The study benefits the girl child pupils since their well being is advocated for in the study. The study also forms a basis for future researchers who may research on a related topic and equip the researcher with knowledge about universal primary education in Uganda. Parents will benefit from the study in a way that they will understand the importance of girl child education and understand that it is the basis for future education. The government should have a police in place that focus on the impact ol’ universal primary education on early childhood education and also put them in practice.
