    Situational analysis of school drop- outs among Primary school children in Kamarinyi Division Keiyo District

    This study on the causes of school dropouts in Kamarinyii Division, Keiyo District and it was specifically aimed at finding out the causes, effects and to identifY the problems and solutions of school dropouts. The research used a variety of data collections which include; self administered questionnaires, interviews and observation. The sampling techniques ust;d in this study were: simple random samplii).g, purposive sampling and stratified sampling. The major findings of the study were that there was evidence school dropouts in the sub county, which are most significant during the rainy and harvest season. The causes of school dropouts included; death of parents, peer group pressure and weak government laws.
