- ItemMaterial Management and Organization Performance in Public Sector in Uganda: A Case Study of Buziga Public Health, Makindye Division, Kampala(Kampala International University, bachelors degree in Supplies And Procurement Management, 2014-06) Karume Assumpta, AnademaneThe purposes of the study were to evaluate the level of material management ad and to ascertain if its cause are the reasons for the poor quality of organizational performance by the local government makindye division-Buziga health center. The objectives of the study were to a certain material management administration measures in Buziga health center, to certain services offered the quality of organizational performance of Buziga healthy center and to a certain the relationship between material management administration and the quality of the service delivered to people of makindye division- Buziga health center. The study included both qualitative and quantitative methods of the data collection. The used 30 respondents mainly in material management department, Health center administrators, health center staffs and some local government officials of makindye division . It was found that the health administration measures were considered that is; material assessment, organization performance evaluation, and setting guidelines in material assessments, employing competent staffs are used in the health center. The findings also showed that there are services offered by the local government to the public as their re back for the their effort paid as in terms of public service delivery using grants and government revenues these services includes; health centers, roads, schools. There is a strong positive relationship between material management administration and quality service delivery according to the findings. The research addresses that there is still need for health administrators to increase their monitoring and reviewing of material management in the in the health centers. The researchers therefore recommends the entire heath administration in conjunction with organizational performance is always deliver services to the public as expectant from them this shall improve their organizational performance.
