    The impact of the youth livelihood program on youth well being:

    The study examined the various activities in which youth livelihood programs absorb the wellbeing of the urban youth of Busimbi division Mityana district The study was guided by four objectives which include: to establish the current knowledge, perceptions and attitudes of the youth towards the youth livelihood program. To establish a relationship between the youth livelihood program and wellbeing of youth in Busimbi division and to determine challenges facing youth livelihood program on the wellbeing of the urban youth The study also used data collection methods such as a questionnaire. Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to analyze data. The study revealed that most of the youth had challenges that hindered their projects operations, corruption, poor mobilization and sensitization and political interference among others. Problems in the context acquisition of license for registration, duplication of products have been attributed to competition. This has culminated into widening of youth groups emphasizing traditional guarantee groups as Busimbi division. The study revealed that most youth own businesses in the area of study used own savings as startup capital for their businesses hence operating at small level with a structural hierarchy of own boss. Despite the challenges faced by youth livelihood program as overwhelming demand, competition from similar programs and operations, efforts has been undertaken to increase the role of such projects in the provision of wellbeing of urban youth. The study recommended youth livelihood programs to employ fellow workers who are willing to work who have different ideas in certain fields to form record keeping, good and well infrastructures can help in the performance of youth livelihood and therefore a better performance.
