    The study investigated the effects of poor health on the learning of children aged 3-6 years in A.l.C baby home Kitui region and found that the homes are very essential in the lives of the developing children. The research gave the overview of the problem using funnel approach. A home is a place where family members live harmoniously and work together 10 sec' the prosperity and well being of every member as Benson M. 2008 viewed it. This research intended lo find out the causes of poor health in physical growth and its effects on learning to children aged 3-6 years and the possible solutions to the problem 'for the children to ilcndi1. The purpose of the study is to look for ways of curbing some of the problems which arc faced by children homes and ways of improving .
