    Effects of indiscipline on mathematics performance in day secondary Schools: (A Case Study of Turbo Division in Uasin-Gishu District)

    A descriptive research on "effects of indiscipline on mathematics performance in day secondary schools", was conducted at Turbo Division to examine the effects of indiscipline of mathematics performance in day secondary schools. The following objectives guided the study What is the relationship between mathematics performance of indiscipline and disciplined students. How do indiscipline students perform in mathematics test? Do indiscipline students complete their mathematics assignments? How is this participation of indiscipline students in mathematics? The study population were the teachers and students of selected secondary schools in Turbo Division of Uasin-gishu District. The instruments used were questionnaires for teachers and students. These questionnaires were collected analyzed and the following were the findings: i) There exist a strong link between indiscipline and poor mathematics performance. From the finding the following recommendations was made. Indiscipline students should be advised and counseled in schools.
