    The effect of fertility rate on population growth, in Bumanya sub-county Kaliro district from 1960-2018.

    This research investigates the effect of fertility rate on population growth in Bumanya sub-county Kaliro district from 1960-2018. Using both multiple and simple regression analysis, my objectives were; to find out the trend of fertility rate in Bumanya sub-county Kaliro. To find out the effect of fertility rate on population growth, and using a descriptive and qualitative method, I found out that there is a decrease in the fertility rate though the population has steady increase over the study period. Fertility rate had a negative effect on population growth. From the purpose of my steady that was investigating the effect of fertility rate on population growth in Bumanya sub-county Kaliro district; Ifound out that fertility had a significant effect on population growth in Bumanya sub county Kaliro district. Therefore, there should be an urgent steps tale to reduce on the population and fertility rate like the use of family planning method, population control programs should also be designed, there should be harsh rules and law that should be designed to parent who face children as wealth and also Universal education should also be provided to children mainly girls so as to reduce fertility rate and control population growth
