This study was carried out in Kuria East District, Kenya. The objective of the study was to investigate the level of Principals administrative behaviour (PAB), to determine the level of school effectiveness and establish the relationship between the PAB and SE. The study is a descriptive survey research with a co-relational approach. The sample size was 130 derived from the Sloven’s formula. Majority of respondents comprised of teachers, head teachers and education officers. Data was analyzed using with Pearson’s’ co relational approach, means and frequencies. The researcher found out that there was very high level of use of the coercive style of administrative behaviour and school effectiveness was very high. Furthermore there was a significant relationship between principal’s administrative behaviour (as one) and level of school effectiveness. In conclusion, the study agrees with Ajzen (1985) that behaviour and intensive are linked to school effectiveness and therefore, researcher recommends that good policies are needed in school for improvement.
