    A profiling repository for efficient sharing of patients’ information between doctors and nurses at hospice Africa Uganda

    This problems; all medical records holders were recorded on paper cards and kept in big files pilled in the study focused at designing and implementing a profiling repository for efficient sharing of patients’ information between doctors and nurses at hospice Africa Uganda Makindye office which will handle effectively and efficiently the management of patients’ information. The system was able to address the following records store, most of the patients’ information was kept on papers more so by inexperienced personnel and there is not much sensitization about the usage of computer based systems to the health workers The researchers used the following techniques and approaches in order to achieve the objectives of the study. It covers the requirements elicitation process, system analysis and design, implementation, testing and validation. The system design used two-tier client server architecture whereby the database was implemented using MySQL whereas the interface was implemented using VB 6.0 The significance of the study is to make the Patients Records Management, Process and Storage much simpler. And also improve on the speed with which the Medicare process is done while profiling the patients
