    The role of supply chain management to the performance of an organization case study: roofing Uganda limited:

    The study was aimed at the role of supply chain management to the performance of an organization,Roofing Uganda limited in lubowa Entebbe road and it was where 40 respondents were randomly Collected with expected sample size of 37 respondents. he study was guided by three objectives that is to say; to examine the role of supply chain engagement to the performance of an organization, to find out the challenges facing supply chain management in an organization. To identify the relationship between supply chain management and organizational management in the performance of an organization.the study was conducted in two phases that is to assessing the relevance of complying with the public procurement and disposal of public assets regulatory frame work on enhancing service delivery. The research design was both qualitative and quantitative in nature and the instrument used obtain data was by the use of the questionnaires. Data was analyzed and presented using tables and SPSSv16 (software package for social scientist).it was from findings the researcher concluded that supply chain management greatly plays a very big ole to the performance of an organization, also concluded that there are also challenges which; supply chain management faces in every organization and finally there is a significant relationship between supply chain management and organizational performance in manufacturing firms like roofing Uganda. fhe researcher recommended that companies especially those in manufacturing firm should ensure ~very process involved in the supply chain is well handled because failure to manage them critically, the outcome can have great impact on general performance in terms of returns of finances, market share among others and roofing limited should address the challenges facing their supply chain in order to have products reach customers in time so as to remain competitive in the manufacturing firms.
