The study included 141 respondents, involving both men and women. The study was guided by research objectives which included: to establish the level of Corporate Governance at NSSF; to establish level of performance of NSSF; to establish the relationship between corporate governance and Performance of NSSF. Methods like Questionnaires and Interviews were used to collect the data. On the nature of corporate governance at NSSF, the study found that many respondents disagreed with many of the statements provided, implying that many of the respondents did not think that corporate government is good at NSSF. On the level NSSF performance, the study found that many of the respondents disagreed with the level of NSSF's performance. The responses show that many of the respondents are dissatisfied with the current level of NSSF performance. On the relationship between corporate governance and Performance of NSSF, the study concluded that; there is a no significant relationship between nature of corporate governance and the extent of NSSF performance. The study later recommended that there should be a move by NSSF to change its corporate across the entire nation and among workers. NSSF needs to take bold decisions and desist political influence whatsoever and put stakeholders interest as top priority, and that NSSF as an organization should devise all possible means of updating the clients on what is happening.
