    Public private partnership and development in local governments: a case study of Masindi District, Uganda

Quantitative analysis technique was used in analyzing and interpreting the data. Data from direct fieldwork observations and the use of questionnaires provided relevant information for analysis. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences analytical tool was used to analyze the data gathered from the survey. Findings reveal that Public Private Partnership is employed at Masindi District local government Public Private Partnerships is a mechanism for government to procure and implement public infrastructure and! or services using the resources and expertise of the private sector. These are also employed at local government level to enhance development.
