    Teaching modes and academic performance of students biology at Githunguri girls’ high school in Maragua district , Kenya

    Objectives: This study determined the strength of teaching modes on academic performance of students in biology at Githunguri Girls High school in Maragua District, Kenya. Design: This study employed the ex-post facto method of investigation. Respondents: This study involved eighty (80) form four students. Findings: This study revealed that the level of academic performance was good (63.775). It was also revealed that there is a significant relationship between the level of academic performance and teaching modes.
