    The aim of the study was to find out the coping mechanisms to seasonal floods in Malera sub—county. This research was guided by the following objectives, to examine the causes of seasonal floods in Malera sub-county to establish the impacts of seasonal floods on communities in Malera sub-county to establish the coping mechanisms against seasonal floods in Malera sub county.‘The study was carried out in Malera sub-county, Bukedea county in Bukedea District.
