    Legal analysis of labour unions in Uganda

    The research is about an examination of the operations of labour unions given the continual struggle for effective representation of workers in Uganda; the study examines laws, regulations and statutory instruments, both nationa internationally bringing to light the strides of various key factors on workers' representation in the parliament of Uganda and at the work place. It further brings to light the more crucial questions regarding the challenges faced by the labour unions, as well as resolution attempts and tenders further recommendations. The research also examined the policies relating to labour unions and how it implements both international and national dogmas relevant to workers' rights in Uganda. The legal framework through labour policies, regulatory bodies and laws therefore has been substantial in addressing labour grievances in Uganda.
