    Distance Learning and Enhancement of the Teaching Process in Kosirai Zone, Nandi North District Kenya

    The purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of distance learning on enhancement of learning process.The specific objectives of the study were to find how distance learning was enhancing the learning process; examine the impact of distance learning studies on teacher’s performance and to examine the challenges to distance learning studies. The methods used for data collection was questionnaires to teachers of the school involved in the study. In chapter four, the findings were presented and interpreted in relation to the study objectives and research questions. While linking to the existing literature, results included demographic characteristics, frequency and percentages. Based on the findings it was observed that distance learning makes learning easier and more affordable in Kenya. In chapter five, development of solutions to the problem, summary of the findings and conclusions were attempted. The researcher suggested recommendations that the Government, educational technocrats and recipients of distance learning should embrace,among others.
