    Kalongo Technical Institute is becoming a pull factor to all students after it abandoned the old structures that were built when it was established in 1983. The sh 5b facility, constructed with funding from Kuwait Government can accommodate 120 girls and staff quarters, a library and computer laboratory installed with 60 new computers.

    The First Lady and education minister Mrs Janet Kataaha Museveni, has told Gulu Universitv to start lectures at the beginning of semesters..Mrs. Museveni noted that when semesters begin, lectures are delayed by two weeks . In her speech read by Joyce Moriku Kaducu. the stale minisier for primary health care, during the 14th graduation of Gulu University on Saturday. the First Lady said: This compromises academic performance and quality of graduates. Unirersiry management must ensure that this stops forthwith in all universities.
