    To investigate the effects of integrating ICT in teaching of mathematics in public secondary schools in Bungoma North district, Kenya

    Mathematics is regarded essential and useful to most people. Its usefulness can be observed in social, aesthetic, artistic, communication and utility aspects of life. This makes it part and parcel of mans' daily life. The social nature of mathematics deals with humankind and how he interacts with society and environment. Mathematics also provides beauty in our environment expressed in terms of such aspects as buildings, latest vehicle designs, all which incorporate shapes. The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of integrating computer in the teaching of mathematics in public secondary schools in Bungoma North, Kenya. The literature review has been done on Computer and Information technology and mathematics. The study shows that the use of computer in teaching mathematics affects performance positively in mathematics. The research objectives will be:- 1. Find out the gender differences in the teachers' attitudes towards the use of computers in mathematics instruction. 2. Determine the computer programming skills required by the mathematics teachers.
