    The impact of communication on employee performance: a case study of Mbarara District Local Government, Uganda

    The study of "the impact of communication on employee performance" was carried out to determine the relationship between communication and employee performance in Mbarara district local goverrnnent, Eastern Uganda. It sought to determine objectively, to establish the relationship between communication and employee perfmmance in Mbarara district local goverrnnent, to examine the effect of communication on employee performance in Mbarara district local government, to find out what forms of communication are used in Mbarara district local goverrnnent, Uganda. Literature review was done in the University library with the aim of establishing and shading more light on the issues pertaining communication in relation to employee performance in Mbarara district local government. This explained the importance of communication on employee performance in every organization. The researcher collected the necessary information using questionnaire and interview data collection methods. The data was discussed and analyzed in order to draw inference from the data collected. Data collected from respondents using questionnaires and interview guide were used to answer the research questions and meet the objectives of the study. The research study contains summary of findings, conclusion and recommendations. Various findings obtained and analyzed in chapter four were comprehensible and satisfactory conclusions and recommendations made basing on research objectives stipulated in chapter one above.
