Abstract
The study aims at investigating on how location (physical environment) affect the enrollment of the physically impaired learners in regular primary schools in Riana zone, Homabay district, The objectries of the study included among others the state of the physically impaired learners in regular primary schools, categories of learners with physical impairment, methods used to support learners with physical impairment and the effects of location on the enrolment of the physically impaired learners. The instrument s used to collect data were questionnaires. The findings indicated that there n crc many teachers who lack knonledge of special education. This has led to poor methods of teaching hence bad pci for riarice by the learners. Many students have dropped out of school iahich has made the physically impaired be labeled illiterate. The study recommended that teachers be trained in special education in order to handle the disabled appropriate.
