Abstract
This study intended to investigate into 1noral decay and the performance among pri1nary school learners in the inclusive setting of Kalawani Zone-Mbooni District. The study objective to investigate causes of moral decay, establish the effects of moral decay, establish the effects on performance and effects of moral decay. The study targeted 150 teachers in the 10 primary school in Kalawani Zone, out of which a sample of 50 was rando1nly sampled. Questionnaires were used to collect data. The study founded out that moral decay was attributed to drug abuse and improper guidance and counseling 60%of the respondents revealed that child who presents with 1noral decay performs poorly in school, disobeys authority, others include absenteeism, truancy among 1nany others. The study established solutions to moral decay to include guidance and counseling, punishment and suspension fron1 school. The study made some recommendation aimed at sampling moral decay in schools. They included conveying of regular parents' days where guidance and counseling sessions will be done in conduction with teachers. Visits to schools by educational officers, grants to those affected and infected by HIV/A IDS, the study also recommends effective administration of institution. Lastly, parents and teachers should take their roles as required.
