Abstract
This handbook is a research report composed of five basic chapters. Contained in the first chapter is an introduction, statement of the problem; and the background to the study; which introduces what the book is all about. The objectives of the study and research questions reveal what the researcher investigated in the field. The significance of the study brings out how this study will be useful to other users of the book; while the scope of the study identify the study area. Chapter two brings out all the literature relevant to the topic of the study. This chapter covers relationship between occupational safety and health and employee performance, causes industrial accidents/hazards, accident proneness, impact of occupational safety and health on employee performance, and prevention of industrial accidents and hazards. Chapter three deals with the methods used while collecting data and limitations to the study. Lastly, chapter four and five explains data presentation, discussion, recommendations, conclusions and summary respectively.
