Abstract: The principle aim of this study was to investigate the effects of deviant behaviors on student's performance in primary schools of Nalweyo sub county Kibale district, Uganda .The study was carried out using qualitative, correlation survey method; this was effective in that it helped the researcher to easily and quickly collect data. Questionnaires and interviews were used to collect data. The informants were teachers, students, and subordinate staff of the schools. It was found out that there is a high relationship between deviance in pupils and their academic performance. This study will benefit the following groups of people the government, educational planners, school administrators, teachers, parents and pupils.
