Abstract
The study will determine the factors that influence the academic performance of the students in Physics. To determine how the availability of qualified science teachers affect the physics performance in the secondary schools in Buyengo sub-county. To measure the extent at which the family’s economic status affect the physics performance in Buyengo sub-county. To investigate the extent by which parent’s level of education affected the academic performance in physics for secondary school students in Buyengo Sub County. How does the availability of qualified science teachers affect the physics performance in the Secondary schools in Buyengo sub-county.How does the parent’s economic status influence the academic performance of secondary. School students in physics at Uganda national examination (UCE).How does the parent’s level of education affect the performance in physics in the National Examinations that is to say UCE in Buyengo Sub-county, Jinja District.
