In the collection of data, the researcher used questionnaires because they involved questions that could be asked personally or impersonally about many things that cannot be observed in survey. The researcher found out that, learners with hearing impairment in our regular classes face a lot of difficulties which needs intervention early enough to minimize the burden. The researcher also found out that the teachers have been fully sensitized on specific needs of learners with hearing impairment. The researcher explored the general performance of learners with hearing impairment in the mainstream classrooms. She encouraged the teachers to change their attitude towards these learners and also modify their teaching methods and approaches. For effective education on the hearing impaired learners, seminars and workshops should be organized to sensitize teachers and entire community. In order for the learners to acquire skills and knowledge, the researcher recommended that learners should be allowed to attend seminars and workshops. The teachers with positive attitude towards these learners should sensitize the parents and the community. All schools should provide conducive environment, more training of special teachers should be enhanced, and parents should provide necessary equipment in school, and the curriculum should be modified to suite special learners.
