Abstract
The study was conducted to establish the effects of home based care services on the prevention and spread of HIV/AIDS
in Kampala central Kampala district, guided with the following objectives i)To examine the different types of home based care services used in the prevention of HIV/AIDS in Kampala central division. ii) To establish the relationship between home-based care services and the spread and prevention of HIV/AIDS in Kampala central division. iii) To establish the challenges faced by home based care services on the prevention and spread of HIV/AIDS in Kampala Central division.
