Abstract
The study was carried out to find out the effects of sustainable procurement on Organizational performance taking a case study of Kamulj Sugar Cane Plant in Kamuli district. The study aimed at assessing the performance of the company under Sustainable procurement in Uganda, finding out the how sustainable procurement activities affects the dimensions of the environment social and economic aspects. The study applied both qualitative and quantitative research designs where interviews and questionnaires were used. Data was collected from secondary sources. Data was processed and analyzed using formal, tables, narrative text and correction to find out the sustainable procurement activities, factors affecting Organizational performance and relationship between sustainable procurement and organizational performance, A total of 73 respondents were considered out of the entire population in Uganda. The findings indicated that the organizational’ performance is affected by organization culture, leadership, motivation, trickling tree plants and others.
