Abstract
The objectives of the study were; to find out impact on free primary education on early childhood
development centers, to identify the impacts of free primary education on early childhood in W aa -
Ngo'mbeni Zone, Kwale county in Kenya to determine whether free education influences education and
illiteracy in Waa- Ngombeni zone in Kwale County of Kenya.
The research was done within Matuga division where data collection as through interviews with
stakeholders, questionnaires, observations, library and internet. Stratifies random sampling procedures
were used to select the sample.
The researcher used frequency distribution table in the analysis findings.
It is evident from the research that there is a relationship between the impact on free primary education on
early childhood development and performance of children in Waa - Ngombeni Zone in Matuga Division
(wale County (Kenya)
It is therefore my opinion to recommend that government, parents, NGOs and the whole community to
support in the funding of ECD programmes. The government should put a strong base in the direct actions
in NGO firms and focus on counseling to improve on behavioral change and the capacity of learning
among the youths.
This goes a long way to improving and ensuring holistic development of children in all ages.
